Mrs. Donna M. Flood holds a Master of Music degree from the School of Music at the State University College at Fredonia, and has received scholarships for advanced study at the Chautauqua Institute and the Aspen School of Music in Colorado. She has served as conductor for the Buffalo Schola Cantorum and the ecumenical, Chancel, and handbell choirs at Trinity United Methodist Church, Amherst, New York. Mrs. Flood has held teaching positions at the State University College at Buffalo, Medaille College, and several public school systems. As General Manager of the Western New York Opera Theater she produced over twenty-five operas, operettas, and chamber operas.
As soprano soloist she has appeared with the Buffalo Schola Cantorum, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Camerata Singers, the Geneseo Community Chorus and Orchestra, the Ars Nova Musicians, and the Chromatic Club, and other organizations.
Mrs. Flood is currently the soloist at First Baptist Church, Niagara Falls, New York, where she sings for a variety of services and coordinates the "Gift of Music" concert series on second Sundays at 2:00 PM.
She is recently retired from teaching music in the Wyoming Central School District where she directed both the instrumental and choral programs. Mrs. Flood is also an adjudicator for the New York State School Music Association.
She and Mr. Flood are proud grandparents of six grand children and reside in Clarence, NY.
